Intermediate - Foundation Route
- Also referred to as CA Inter is the second level of examination for students pursuing chartered accountancy.
- Students who have passed CA Foundation can register for CA Intermediate.
- The exams are conducted twice a year (May, November). Students have to complete an 8 months study period in order to appear for the examination.
- After passing both groups of Intermediate and completing ICITSS, students can join for their practical training FOR 2 years.(earlier the duration was 3 years).
Intermediate - Direct Entry Route
Commerce Graduates/Post-Graduates (with minimum 55% marks) or Other Graduates/ Post-Graduates (with minimum 60% marks) and Intermediate level passed candidates of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost Accountants of India. After passing both groups of Intermediate, students can join for their practical training.
Students undergoing Final Year Graduation or Post-Graduation shall be eligible for provisional registration for Intermediate.
